1. Who we are

This privacy policy applies to Cumbre Labs, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (EIN 30-1478970) with its mailing address at 1111b South Governors Avenue STE 29932, Dover, DE 19904, United States. Cumbre Labs, LLC operates the website cumbrelabs.com (the “Website”). Software development is also provided by our affiliated entity Cumbre Labs SAS (RUT 220668910019, Montevideo, Uruguay).

Together, both entities are referred to in this policy as “Cumbre Labs”, “we”, “us”, or “our”. For any privacy-related question you can contact us at support@cumbrelabs.com.

2. Scope of this policy

cumbrelabs.com is a promotional website for Cumbre Labs, our products, and our services. It does not require an account, does not host user-generated content, and does not process payments.

Our products — including the Coco Roco iOS application — are governed by their own separate privacy policies, available on the Apple App Store listing and within each product. This policy does not cover those products.

3. Information we collect

Information you choose to send us. If you fill out the contact form on the Website or write to us by email, we receive your name, email address, and the content of your message. That is the only personal information we collect through the Website.

Aggregated, anonymous analytics. We use Vercel Analytics to count visits and understand traffic patterns. It does not use cookies, does not store IP addresses, and does not track you across other websites. We cannot identify individual visitors from this data.

We do not use Google Analytics, do not set advertising cookies, and do not require consent banners because we do not rely on consent-based tracking. If we deploy a Meta Pixel or similar advertising pixel in the future, we will update this policy and where required by law we will request consent first.

4. How we use the information you send us

• To follow up on a conversation you started with us.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by the CCPA. We do not add you to a marketing list unless you explicitly ask us to.

5. Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted vendors to operate the Website:

• Vercel Inc. — hosting and privacy-friendly analytics.
• Email provider — to receive and reply to messages sent to support@cumbrelabs.com.

These vendors process information only on our instructions and under contractual privacy obligations.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port any personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA), the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions with comparable laws can exercise these rights by writing to support@cumbrelabs.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

Do Not Sell or Share. Cumbre Labs does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA.

7. Children

The Website is intended for a general adult audience — typically parents, partners, journalists, and business contacts. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 through the Website. Our Coco Roco product, which is child-facing, has its own separate privacy policy that describes how it complies with COPPA, GDPR-K, and the Apple Kids Category requirements. If you believe a child has provided information to us through this Website, please write to support@cumbrelabs.com and we will delete it.

8. International transfers

Cumbre Labs operates from the United States and Uruguay, and our vendors may be located in other countries. Where we transfer personal information across borders we rely on appropriate legal mechanisms, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect it.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Retention

Messages sent through the contact form are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and any reasonable follow-up, and then deleted on a routine basis. You can ask us to delete your message at any time by writing to support@cumbrelabs.com.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
