Turning screen time into fertile time.
Cumbre Labs is an edutainment studio at the intersection of technology, entertainment, and meaning. We build products that help kids — and the adults around them — turn the hours they already spend on screens into time that grows ideas, skills, and imagination. Our first product, Coco Roco, is live on the Apple App Store.
Alongside our own products, we also partner with brands and teams who bring us in to build AI integrations and interactive experiences — the same craft, applied to other people’s ambitions.
Kids aged 8 to 12 now spend roughly 5 to 6 hours a day on screens. They jump from video to video, from game to game, never quite finishing one.
The content is either too passive or too hyperactive — and they end up wired, burned out, or in meltdown mode. Honestly, our own screen time isn’t much different: doom-scrolling, jumping from one thing to the next, an hour gone with nothing to show for it.
We believe screen time can become fertile time — time that leaves something behind: a new idea, a small skill, a thought worth keeping.
Twenty years of game-craft, AI, and product engineering — used as a canvas, not a hook.
If it isn’t fun, kids won’t come back. We design for delight, replayability, and a smile at the end.
Every session should leave a trace — a creation, a question, a connection — not just an empty dopamine hit.

Pablo Mayer — Founder & CEO
Pablo Mayer is an entrepreneur, storyteller, and a recognized voice at the intersection of technology, content, and entertainment. He studied Communication Sciences and began his career as a journalist, traveling across Argentina and Latin America in search of stories — a passion that remains the throughline of his work.
In the late nineties he was part of the founding team of Univeritas.com, one of the first e-learning platforms in the region, where he took his first steps as an entrepreneur. In 2005 he co-founded Three Melons, a pioneering video-game studio acquired in 2010 by Playdom (Disney), marking his consolidation in the global digital-entertainment industry.
In 2012 he founded The Other Guys, the studio behind hit interactive series such as Linda Brown and Journeys, reaching millions of users worldwide. The company was acquired by Gameloft in 2020.
Pablo is also a mentor and investor in technology startups including Brandtrack and Ecobella. In 2026 he launched Cumbre Labs to use everything he’s learned in two decades of games to build edutainment that actually leaves something behind.
